This fabulous month long itinerary takes in an abundance of stunning New Zealand scenery.

Day 1, 2 & 3
Heathrow to Auckland (Air New Zealand)

Day 3
At Christchurch domestic airport collect you hire car and make your way to a luxury 5* boutique hotel with only 12 suites and a fine dining restaurant in Christchurch. Duration of stay: 2 nights.

Day 5
Travel onwards to the Aoraki National Park where you will spend 1 night in a luxurious hotel with spectacular views of Mount Cook.

Day 6
Queenstown is the next stop with 2 nights in a boutique hotel only a short walk from the downtown area with views over the bay to Remarkables.

Day 8
The lodge where you will spend 2 nights offers comfort and privacy but is only 5Km from the tourist township of Te Anau. Set on 40 acres of land the views across Lake Te Anau are stunning and just a 10 minute walk away. To the west of the lake lie the mountains of Fiordland National Park, an area of over 3 millions acres of untouched wilderness and part of the much larger South West New Zealand World Heritage Area.

Day 9
A luxury coach will transport you from Te Anau to Milford Sound where you will experience a two and a half hour nature cruise along the full length of the fiord.

Day 10
Your home for the following 2 nights is a ranch style lodge in Wanaka. With breathtaking mountain views in every direction this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Day 12
Nestled amongst native West Coast rainforest at Franz Josef is a very special 5* retreat. Duration of stay: 2 nights.

Day 13
Excursion: Half day glacier experience. A 10 minute bus ride will take you to within 3Km of the glacier, where a guide will exp-lain all the unique features of the glacier and you will get the chance to make your way up the terminal face of the glacier.

Day 14
Escape to the Wild West coast and stay in a luxurious and memorable location, for 1 night, on Punakaiki Beach.

Day 15
Spend 1 night in a suite constructed from adobe mud blocks in the natural Hanmer Springs alpine landscape, enjoying spectacular views of the tranquil park-like grounds.
The following 2 nights will be spent in boutique style accommodation overlooking the township of Kaikoura with spectacular views across to the Seaward Kaikoura Mountain Range and the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 17
Spend the day whale watching in Kaikoura. You will be introduced to the magnificent sperm whale, migratory Humpback whale, Orca and New Zealand’s own tiny Hector dolphins.

Day 18
On the Bronte Peninsula near Nelson, 2 nights will be spent in a lodge situated on the edge of the Waimea Estuary, with interesting bird life and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 19
The Great Day Out excursion. You will cruise to Totaranui and return, disembarking in Anchorage where you will walk to Marahau (approx 3.5 hours). A coach is provided from Marahau for your return. Enjoy fabulous views with an abundance of photo opportunities.

Day 20
Take the ferry to Wellington where you will spend 2 nights in a museum style hotel with a superb collection of New Zealand art displayed in the lobby area.

Day 22
One night will be spent in the heart of one of New Zealand’s finest wine growing regions near Wellington. The historic, luxury, boutique accommodation that you will call home for the night is walking distance from 24 wineries.

Day 23
Located in the centre of Napier, another night will be spent in a beautiful faithfully restored Edwardian Art Deco hotel with 18 suite and rooms. The fine dining restaurant has won many awards and with many vineyards close by this will be a truly unforgettable experience.

Day 24
Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Rotoiti, two nights will be spent in your lake view room. This hotel has an idyllic setting and superb facilities.

Day 25
You will need to change your vehicle due to the ferry crossing. This will take place at the departure terminal.

Day 26
In the heart of Auckland and overlooking the Viaduct Harbour, your waterfront hotel has sweeping marina views. Duration of stay: 2 nights.

Day 28
Located in Russell and set in native bush, offering sea views in all directions, 3 nights will be spent at this stunning lodge. Your hosts will share with you the local Maori culture of this special place, the Bay of Islands.

Day 31
