6 Day Tour of Northern Poland - From £785pp
This is an amazing 6 day trip of Northern Poland encompassing one night in the capital city, Warsaw. A first class train journey from Warsaw to Gdansk. Two nights stay in the medieval town of Torun, two nights stay in Gdansk and a tour of the enormous Malbork Castle. All accommodation will be on a B&B basis with private tours of each city. In addition you will be driven everywhere in a private car.
- DAY1: Private transfer from Warsaw airport to your art deco style 5* hotel.
- DAY 2: In the morning you will have a 3 hour tour of Warsaw, including the Old Town, Royal Castle and Lazienki Park. You will then be transferred to the railway station for the direct connection to Torun. After a train journey of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes (1st Class) you will be met and transferred to your rustic hotel built into the medieval walls of Torun.
- DAY3: A 3 hour private sightseeing tour of Torun with A local guide. Torun is a medieval walled City, home to Nicolaus Copernicus, the famous astronomer, and very similar in nature to medieval walled cities such as Tallinn. Situated on the Vistula River, Torun was one of Europe’s major trading cities in the Middle Ages.
- Day 4: Private transfer to Gdansk. On the way visit the beautiful medieval Malbork Castle. Built by the Teutonic Knights, it is the largest brick Castle in Europe and a really impressive example of a medieval fortress. Experience a tour of the castle and then continue on to Gdansk
- Day 5: In the morning take a private sightseeing tour of Gdansk covering The Long Street, The Motlawa River’s bank, Dockyard’s-main Market Street and The Amber Street.
- Day 6: Check out and private transfer to Gdansk airport.
